For customers that have arranged email service through us. Your email address looks like yourname@yourdomain.com

Newer email clients (Windows Vista, Windows 7, Android, Blackberry, iPhone)

  1. If you have the choice, use TLS encryption for extra security.
  2. Your account name will depend on the email address you have chosen. It will look like this
    “username@yourdomain.com”
  3. Your password will be provided to you offline
  4. Outgoing server smtp.gmail.com, the port number is 587
  5. Incoming server is pop.gmail.com, the port number is 995
  6. Enable authentication for Outgoing and Incoming (Not SPA)

Older email clients (Windows XP)

  1. Use SSL encryption
  2. Your account name will depend on the email address you have chosen. It looks like username@yourdomain.com
  3. Your password will be provided to you offline
  4. Outgoing server smtp.gmail.com, the port number is 465
  5. Incoming server is pop.gmail.com, the port number is 995
  6. Enable authentication for Outgoing and Incoming (Not SPA)

Customers that have a Verizon connection to the internet need to specify port 587 as the outgoing mail SMTP port. Other ISPs may have other non-standard outgoing port numbers.
