Standards Compliance
We are fully compliant with all World Wide Web Consortium(W3C) standards, so that your audience is as big as possible. Currently, all our code is compliant with HTML4.01 and CSS2.1, which are the most widely-supported standards.
For us to follow a standard:
- Must not be a draft
- Must be a working copy
- Must be stable
- Must be widely-supported
Do you ever exceed the Standard?
When it comes to quality, of course! When it comes to following bleeding-edge technology, no. We don't yet follow standards like XHTML or CSS3 because the specifications are not widely-supported. We are aware of them, and when it makes good business sense to use them, we will.
Why should we care?
Because if a website is not up to, or overshoots the standard, it will not display properly in all browsers. This can cause your business to lose some of its online audience.
